The Neutrino Pro Jacket has been a favourite of mountaineers for the last twenty years. Updated with a new arm baffle design and 100% recycled fabric, the new Neutrino Pro now has greater mobility and a lighter footprint. Perfect for climbing in winter conditions, this alpine down jacket is filled with 800FP goose down.

This ultra-high lofting down is extremely insulative, even in freezing temperatures. The Neutrino Pro uses a 100% recycled, wind and weather resistant Pertex® Quantum Pro outer, offering refuge from blizzards, withstanding snow, and spindrift. The new anatomically engineered twisted arm baffles improve arm pre-curve, enabling complete freedom of movement. Designed specifically with the demands of winter climbing in mind, whether you’re questing up frozen waterfall or belaying from an exposed ledge, the Neutrino Pro offers unhindered movement for proficient climbing.Incredibly lightweight and packable for such a warm jacket, the Neutrino Pro can be compressed into its stuff sack and stored in your pack.

It has a fully adjustable, helmet compatible, down filled hood and a tough, two-way YKK® VISLON® ® front zip for ease of use with a harness. Designed for durability in rugged terrain, the shoulders and upper sleeves have been strengthened with Ripstop reinforcements. Rab Men's Upper Body Measurement Chart

While all Rab garments are sized to these measurements, you will find that the cut on jackets designed for use in more extreme environments will be slightly more generous in the expectation that these designs will be used with additional/thicker mid-layers. If you plan on using a jacket like this with fewer layers beneath it, please keep this in mind when selecting your size.

Designed to be versatile Regular Fit garments are not closely fitted making them ideal for cross-seasonal use and multi-layering. Regular fit garments are contoured, with room for movement.

Slim Fit for Garments

Slim Fit garments are designed to be worn closer to the body or over layers such as baselayers and light mid-layers. Slim fit garments are close fitting for maximum performance when moving dynamically.

Expedition Fit for Garments

Expedition garments are designed to be worn in colder conditions over more layers of clothing than our other fits and are oversized slightly to allow for this.

"The Rab Neutrino Pro is a warm, weather-resistant, and comfortable cold weather parka that can be worn in a wide variety of situations, making it our favorite for winter hiking and outdoor recreation. It features tons of high-quality down insulation packed into a lightweight package, with a thin shell fabric that can stand up to snow or light rain. The sleeves, hem, and hood are all designed with winter weather in mind, and the inner lining is very soft against the skin. The jacket is also highly compressible, making it an excellent option for users who spend time outdoors in the winters or who want to stash their jacket away when they aren't wearing it. The downsides are that the shell fabric isn't that durable and that the jacket only has three pockets. Otherwise, we think this would make a great addition to any jacket collection.
